A helping hand from Realise charity
17-year-old Josh Botham, sadly got his beloved moped stolen from outside his house. This massively restricted him being able to travel to and from his workplace, relying on family members and public transport. Realise charity stepped in and gifted Josh a moped.
Finding a support network thanks to Realise charity
A single mum in the local area had lost her business and was suffering from mental health problems. Realise charity stepped in alongside other local charities in the area to help provide school uniform, bedding and money to buy daily essentials.
Volunteers from Realise charity recently took to Trentham Gardens to support the Donna Louise ‘Taking Flight’ project – helping to add 5,000 ceramic butterflies to an amazing art installation within the Italian Gardens.

Tribute to local cyclist unveiled on Newcastle roundabout
The metal cycling sculpture, featuring six cyclists in motion, was inspired by the late Brian Tomkins, former Newcastle Borough Councillor, Chair of Aspire Housing and member of the Newcastle Triathlon Club.
