This year 10 cyclists from across we are aspire have been training to embark on the UK’s most popular long-distance cycle route, Coast2Coast. The team have been training hard throughout lockdown to get ready for the 140-mile route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth.
As a result of the challenges we have all faced this year, and to ensure the safety of all riders, the event has been postponed several times.
All the riders are fit and ready to go – so to avoid disappointment the challenge has been RE-IMAGINED!
The riders will now be taking on an individual local challenge riding 140-miles over 7 days from Saturday 10th October to Saturday 17th October.
In their own time, riders will be choosing their own routes taking in some of the great local views and heritage from across Staffordshire and Cheshire – whilst being able to safely social distance.
Keep an eye out on social media for the latest routes from each cyclist #CyclingForRealise
