Giving Back to the Community

Holdcroft Heating has been supporting good causes since 1989 and Directors, Steve & Tina Holdcroft, have a strong passion for helping others and giving back to local communities.

Tina is the Realise charity Patron, having served on the Board for over 6 years. She has been involved in a variety of programmes supporting local communities since 2013 including a bereavement garden for the Donna Louise, the setting up of parent and toddler groups with the Alice charity and many others.

Tina said: “My favourite project has to be the Lady in the Park based at the Brampton in Newcastle. It’s a beautiful sculpture and was my first opening as Chair of the charity. It’s one of the many reasons why I got involved with Realise so many years ago.”

During 2019, with her husband, their company Holdcroft Heating is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary and has pledged to raise £30,000 for local charities.

“We want to raise £30,000 to mark our milestone year through various events for five great charities. It means so much being able to give something back.”

Five charities across Staffordshire will benefit from the fundraising including Alice charity, Realise charity, Donna Louise, Dougie Mac and Mind North Staffs. The money raised will help each charity achieve their goals and support people across North Staffordshire.

Tina added: “This year is a big year for us. We want to raise £30,000 to mark our milestone year through various events for five great charities. It means so much being able to give something back.

We’ve been holding events throughout this year including a Curry & Quiz night at Mirchi in Shelton and a Jailbreak event at PM Training. We’ve got big plans for a Beer Festival on Friday 1nd November and a Charity Ball on November 22nd. If we can get to £30,000 it will be fantastic.”

In her role as Patron, Tina passionately supports the values of the Realise charity saying “The essence of Realise is about being in the community. I’m very proud to be part of this unique charity and the work it does for people across Staffordshire.”
