Join us during 12th – 16th July for a ‘Festival’ week of events raising awareness about literacy, mental health and job support across Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Each day is themed around one of our core priorities – Literacy, Mental Health, Employment and Digital.
Check out the festival line-up below and get involved by booking onto sessions and by following #RealiseFest21 where you’ll find great content during the week.
How to book onto events
Monday – Follow the day on social media using #RealiseFest21 – look out for clues as to where to find books as part of our Community Book Hunt.
Don’t forget to join in at 7pm and share pictures of you reading with #RealiseReadingRocks

Tuesday – Register to join our virtual Wellbeing sessions taking place throughout the day – simply follow the link below to book
9.30am – 11.00am
Drop in with Realise charity Counsellor Leanne, the session will have a focus on improving mental health and the effects of the pandemic.
11.00am – 12.00pm
An introduction from the Mental Health Support Team talking about the services they offer. This session is targeted towards young people and/or apprentices.
13.30pm – 14.30pm
A session with Craig from MenUnite. The session will introduce the group, who they are and what they offer.
Wednesday – Look out for our new ‘Do You Realise?’ Podcast about the new employment, skills and training hub for Newcastle-under-Lyme – THE WORKSHOP. Plus, follow #RealiseFest21 for top tips about job searching, CV writing and job applications.
Thursday – A day of digital tips and advice – plus – take part in a quick to win a £20 Amazon voucher. Look out for the quiz on social media using #RealiseFest21
The session is from 11am – 1.30pm.
Friday – After a week of seeing and hearing about the great work Realise does – help us to do more by donating what you can on a day of Realise-a-thon fundraising. Follow #RealiseFest21 for more information and how to donate.
